- Bluewater Key in Key West, absolutely luxury with our own private tiki hut + water front
- Fiesta Key in Layton, this was very tight so that part wasn’t great but $20/night with Thousand Trails and it was in the middle of the FL Keys
- Orlando RV Resort (aka Thousand Trails Orlando), generally big spots (with some turds) but a ton of families; winter there is like a non-stop rally (and $0/night with Thousand Trails)
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness, luxury price and wooded, some spots are better than others but you’re in the Disney bubble
- Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake is an Orlando City park, not very level but very nice oasis in the middle of the city (super close to Universal and close to Sea World)
- Any of the Orange County park campgrounds, very wooded and large spots
- Royal Coachman in Nokomis, funkily laid out spots because they kept a lot of trees but still a bit crowded (which is typical for southwest Florida); this is another that’s $20/night with Thousand Trails
- Kathryn Hanna Abby park, a city park in Jacksonville that is beautifully wooded and has access to the beach
- Flamingo Lake in Jacksonville was also decently nice, lots to do but some spots could be snug (like our pull-thru that we had to back out of)
