Is an RV clothing washer/dryer worth it? And what should I know about them?

To answer if an RV clothing washer/dryer is worth it or not, the first question is are you weekending or fulltime?

We weekended for 3 years and just didn’t see the point. We didn’t mind the occasional trip to the campground laundry facilities and taking home dirty clothes.

Once we went fulltime, we started without one and ended up getting one due to the surprising high cost of laundry facilities. We are a family of 4 and don’t re-wear clothes once they’re worn once. We were doing 6-9 loads of laundry a week and the price for washing and drying ran from $2.50 to $6.00 per load!

For folks who boondock often, they’re likely not worth it as they require a good amount of electricity and water.
